Begin planting warm season annuals and perennials: Vinca,Portulaca,Pentas,Zinnias,Golden Fleece…You’ll have much more success than if you wait until it is hot and your winter plants die. It is a hard decision to pull winter annuals when they are in all their glory, so do it a little at a time. As one plant or section begins to fade -replace!
